Mona Andersen joined the Topeka office in 1999, fresh off her move from longtime home Garden City, Kan. Having worked as an office manager since 1973, she brings a wealth of experience to her role, keeping things on schedule and in harmony on a daily basis.
“The best thing about the doctors is their compassion and friendliness toward patients. Justin is very friendly and patient, and he is just a joy to work for.”
Andersen’s husband, Rick, has worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation for more than 20 years, which is what initially brought them to the capital city. In their downtime, they stay active in their local church, where Andersen volunteers her time in the nursery.
While she is sure to squeeze in a yearly trip with her mother and four sisters (her two brothers usually opt out), Andersen’s free days are most often filled with visits to see her two grown sons and her grandson in San Antonio and Tampa.
“The doctors and staff have been superb! I have been able to hear things — talking and hearing people in a crowded room. Set up an appointment and change your life.”

“I like meeting the patients and talking with them. And I love numbers, so I enjoy anything with accounting and statements. Everything about my job is wonderful.”
